Fast-bowler Mohammed Siraj takes charge as DSP in Telangana

Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj has been appointed as the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) in Telangana. Siraj’s new role was confirmed in a ceremony with the state’s DGP and other officials. Despite lacking the required educational qualifications, Siraj was granted an exemption by the Telangana government, recognizing his contributions to international cricket.
