Both the men came to the hospital injured, after dressing they demanded to see a doctor and were shot dead.
In a shocking incident, a doctor was shot dead inside a hospital in Kalindi Kunj in Delhi’s Jaitpur area after two people came for treatment pretending to have an injury, police said.
The CCTV footage is being examined to identify the accused.
Police said that according to the hospital staff, two people had come to the hospital injured, after dressing they demanded to meet the doctor and shot them as soon as they entered his cabin.
The staff said that as soon as they heard the gunshot, they reached the doctor’s cabin and found him soaked in blood.
The reason behind the doctor’s murder has not been revealed yet. Police are investigating the case and searching for the accused.
The incident comes at a time when doctors in Kolkata are protesting to ensure their safety in all medical establishments across the country.
