A survey by the Ipas Development Foundation reveals that 70 percent of respondents support legal abortion in India. Yet, less than a third think women should be the primary decision-makers. Support for abortion for unmarried women is lower at 62 percent. Education level shows a positive correlation with support for abortion rights.
