Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, has been selected as India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Film Category at the 97th Academy Awards. The film stars Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava, and Nitanshi Goel. Made on a budget of Rs 4-5 crore, it earned approximately Rs 27 crore worldwide.
