Odisha records highest ever gross GST collection of Rs 5902.25 crore


Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded the highest ever collection of gross GST (CGST + IGST + OGST + Cess) with a collection of Rs 5902.25 crore during April 2024 as against Rs 5035.74 crore recorded during April 2023, which is in line with the national average. Compared to this, it registers a growth rate of 17.21%. Growth rate of 13%.

Odisha recorded highest ever collection of State GST (OGST + IGST settlement) with collection of Rs 2996.05 crore during April 2024 as against collection of Rs 2253.71 crore recorded during April 2023, an unprecedented growth of 32.94% Rate entered.

Out of this, the OGST collection of Rs 2081.83 crore during April is also the highest ever OGST collection.

OGST/IGST settlement/collection under all Acts including VAT and business tax monitored by CT&GST Commissionerate, Odisha during April 2024 is Rs. Rs 3330.48 crore against the collection of Rs 2544.45 crore during April 23 with a growth rate of 30.89%.

During April 24, 23.15 lakh waybills have been generated, while 20.90 lakh waybills have been generated during April 2023, registering a growth of 10.76%, reflecting the boom in the state’s economy. Of the 23.15 lakh e-waybills generated during April 2024, 12.38 lakh were intra-state waybills, while 8.51 lakh were inter-state waybills.
