Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized electoral bonds, recently scrapped by the Supreme Court, labeling them as the “world’s biggest extortion scheme” and accusing PM Modi of championing corruption. He predicted a reduced seat count for BJP, citing an undercurrent in favor of the INDIA bloc. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also joined in, predicting a BJP sweep from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur and Modi’s exit from the political scene.
